Old Fashioned Hard Bat Ping Pong Tournament

An Old Fashioned Hard Bat tournament requires people to use the old "hard bats". Those are
the paddles that have pimpled rubber with no sponge on the inside. Games are played to 21 (best 2 out of 3 games).

This tournament is suitable for all levels of players and all ages.
That means everyone from kids to the old-timers who remember playing with hard bats 50 years ago.

Starting Time: Doors open at 10:30am and tournament play begins at 11:00pm.

Sponsor: Willamette Table Tennis Club and Paddle Palace

Prizes: Winners in the Hard Bat tournament receive cash: 1st place 50% / 2nd place 25%

Format: Tournaments is round robin. Hard bat matches are 21-point best of 3 games.
We will use modern 40 mm balls simply because it's too hard to find the old 38 mm balls.
The % for prize money refers to the percentage that is collected in entry fees.
